__________________________________________

The multi-stage performance project ARCHIVES & BEYOND revolves around the exploration of the "feminine" knowledge of different generations of female artists and current collective working methods.
The transmedial artists Dorothee Daphi (Hamburg) and Pascale Grau (Basel) took the joint production HAUSSaEGEN (1995) as the starting point for an interdisciplinary research process involving both young and established artists. In the preceding 'Revisited Performance' in Hamburg, Basel and Berlin, the concept and practices of the production were examined and transformed. The resulting recordings and results of the participating artists are incorporated into the current performance in collective authorship. The themes of house, power and archive are at the heart of the performance, which navigates between the fields of theater, installation and exhibition.
