In his almost 30-year career as a musician, Florian Arbenz has proven time and again that he is not only a brilliant drummer, but also has a good nose for unusual and exciting combinations of musicians and instruments. In this trio with the American sax legend and long-time BlueNote artist Greg Osby and the Dutch Hammond virtuoso Arno Krijger, this comes into its own! The trio transports the listener into a world full of rhythmic tension, swinging solos, virtuoso improvisations and dreamy sounds. Florian Arbenz has worked with Greg Osby in countless formations since 1998, but this is their first project with Arno Krijger and his Hammond organ. Arno is one of the few Hammond specialists who can play the bass perfectly with his feet! This gives him more freedom with his hands to shape the Hammond sound using the built-in effects, which makes his playing more like that of an orchestra than that of an individual musician! In addition to the listening pleasure, it is a real feast for the eyes to watch Arno Krijger master his Hammond!
