Ansgar Specht (Guitar), no longer an insider tip, but firmly positioned within the jazz scene. The jazz guitarist who makes audiences sit up and take notice with his groovy, idiosyncratic version of jazz and is a welcome (and listened to) guest in jazz clubs. After studying privately with Philippe Caillat, who has clearly influenced him, he has consistently done his thing and has created his own style over the years. Somewhere between lounge, modern jazz, bebop, fusion and pop. He also studied in New York, took lessons with Jeff Richman (L.A.) and attended workshops with Frank Gambale and Jean Pierre Llabbador. As a composer and producer, he has scored with 6 CDs to date. His 6th work was highly praised by experts (JazzPodium). This is the first album on which Specht does not appear as a composer.
He has played with many well-known musicians such as Tony Lakatos, Prof. Volker Winck, Ingolf Burkhardt, Gabriela Koch, John Hondorp, Prof. Altfrid M. Sicking, Joe Dinkelbach, Christian Kappe, Peter Ponzol, Scott Flanigan, Georg Rox, Lars Haake (Brooklyn / N.Y.) Sebastian Altekamp, Klaus Fey, Frederik Köster, Ingo Senst, Dirk Schaadt, Ruud Ouwehand, Jens Schöwing and many more.

Now he will present his new quartet.... which will again devote itself increasingly to the many,
new compositions....
