Gender-analytical, socially critical and hilarious: women and men in literature - who drinks more or less, better or worse, and what does the quota actually say? On stage, too, women indulge in a little mood enhancer. People relax, one drink quickly turns into three. And at some point it tips over. As it always does when it's just too much. So - here's to a glass! Anneke Kim Sarnau and Andrea Sawatzki read funny, sad, wild, true and compassionate texts about female drinking. Cheers, ladies!

Andrea Sawatzki has made a name for herself as an actress, audio book narrator and author .Anyone who doesn't know her from the ZDF comedy series "Familie Bundschuh" will love her as Commissioner Charlotte Sänger from the TV series "Tatort".

Like her "drinking sister",Anneke Kim Sarnau has shaped the German television landscape for over 20 years.For over twelve years, she investigated in the investigative duo for "Polizeiruf 110" on NDR. As a multiple Grimme Award winner, she will toast the 90-minute reading on stage. Skål!

Knut Elstermann has not only been hosting our show on November 1 for more than 30 years, but is also a well-known German film critic, director, screenwriter and, of course, a fantastic presenter!
