Anna Depenbusch is the epitome of a singer-songwriter. She writes, composes and produces authentically approachable songs. With her music, the Hamburg native tells stories full of poetry and liveliness. Her lyrics are sometimes tender, sometimes eloquent, and always peppered with a personal pinch of "Anna".

The singing poet created her unmistakable style between Edith Piaf, Hildegard Knef and Björk early on and enchants with her very own mixture: deeply sad and hilarious. She now has five studio albums and two solo albums to her name, has toured from the Elbphilharmonie to the Prinzregententheater, and has been awarded the Fred Jay Prize and the German Chanson Prize, among others. There is still no end in sight.

The versatile thoroughbred musician is currently performing her solo program on the grand piano, taking her audience on a musical journey through the stories of Anna Depenbusch as an entertaining storyteller: sometimes whispering, sometimes whistling, sometimes powerful or delicate, she accompanies her singing on the piano. A charming mix of genres with endless liveliness, heart and humor.
