Anda Kryeziu: TILDE [~], Ensemble Modern

As the opening of the 32nd Dresden Days of Contemporary Music, Ensemble Modern presents "TILDE [~]", a project by composer Anda Kryeziu, born in Kosovo in 1993. Taking the Ensemble Modern archives as her starting point, the artist explores the theme of archiving as an artistic practice and collective memory in the digital age. Using this material, which also includes recordings of the ensemble's projects in Dresden, Anda Kryeziu composed and staged a unique immersive format for ensemble, light, video and objects, in which the audience is invited to immerse themselves in the entire performative space. The work was premiered at the Darmstadt Summer Course in 2023 and can now be experienced for the first time in Dresden.
