Amis in der McGraw-Kaserne

In the organizer's words:

The building complex on Tegernseer Landstraße symbolizes the transition from the Nazi era to democracy: from 1935 NSDAP Reichszeugmeisterei, 1945-1992 McGraw barracks of the US Army, since then police station and state building authority.

The exhibition combines the history of the historic site with biographies of people whose lives were connected to it. In addition, a photo exhibition documents historical traces and their disappearance as a result of the redevelopment of the site.
