The Hanseatic City of Lübeck, Social Security Department, is organizing an information and exhibition day on the topic of "Growing older in Lübeck" for the third time. With Free admission, visitors can look forward to a variety of information stands, lectures, hands-on activities and other opportunities to get to know and try things out.

The information day offers older and ageing Lübeck citizens, relatives and all interested parties comprehensive advice and exchange on site, provides suggestions for networking and supports the self-determined organization of ageing. Information, tips and suggestions on the various phases of ageing are presented in line with the overall municipal concept of living and housing in old age.

This year, particular attention is being paid to the recently published Ninth Report on Ageing by the Federal Government entitled "Growing old in Germany - Diversity of potential and inequality of opportunities for participation". The report focuses, among other things, on the diversity of life situations of older people, diversity and variety of images of ageing, access to participation and ageing with a migration background.

You can expect exhibitors from regional municipal services of general interest, voluntary welfare associations, non-profit associations and initiatives, representatives of those affected and other interest groups for the interests of senior citizens - for informed ageing in the Hanseatic City of Lübeck.
