Concert at the Heidelberg Congress Center

New Year's Eve concert with works by Carl Maria von Weber, Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, Charles Gounod, Peter I. Tchaikovsky, Franz Liszt, Johann Strauss (son), Richard Strauss, Franz Schreker and Leonard Bernstein

Waltz time at the turn of the year - the Heidelberg Philharmonic Orchestra's New Year's Eve and New Year's Day concert surprises with lively music. The rousing art and variety of the waltz can be marveled at. Of course, perennial favorites such as Johann Strauss' (son) "Frühlingsstimmen", Tchaikovsky's waltz from "Swan Lake" or waltzes from Richard Strauss' "Rosenkavalier" are not to be missed. Carl Maria von Weber's "Invitation to the Dance", Bernstein's "Glitter and Be Gay" - and many more are also included. The New Year's Eve countdown has begun - and then it's time to say Happy New Year!
