The last day before the vacations is always something special at Netti's school. All the project groups present their results and the school year is celebrated with the big costume party. This time Netti goes as a unicorn.
But she has been the victim of bullying for weeks. She is not teased on the bus or pushed in the schoolyard, no, she is insulted in chat groups and untruths about her are spread on social media. Fever, the leader of the bullies, has set up a separate chat group, "Everyone but the Unicorn", to quickly share her insults and lies with everyone else. At the end of the day, as Fever lies at the foot of the stairs she has just fallen down because she is wearing the unicorn costume herself due to a failed prank, she realizes: everyone becomes a victim for no reason. In her case, she had to reap the hatred she had sown against the unicorn herself.
Cyberbullying often goes unnoticed: far away from helicopter parents, teachers or other adults. The digital revolution means that children are confronted with the uncontrollable effects of chats and social media - an explosive topic for pupils, parents and teachers.
