After her successful fall tour in October 2024, Alin Coen already has the next big news ready: She's going on tour again in October 2025! Accompanied by her long-time bandmates Fabian Stevens on drums and Philipp Martin on bass, she will be performing in Chemnitz, Weiden, Darmstadt, Tübingen, Leverkusen, Lübeck, Worpswede and Jena. "I listen to the music that is created on the piano or guitar and try to find the right words and stories to match the feeling that the music triggers in me," she explains. Her specialty? Letting feelings flow! "My inspiration comes from the music itself and from observing my inner world more than from external influences." In addition to music, she is also passionate about increasing the visibility of women in the pop industry. "You just have to keep reminding yourself that women are disadvantaged by structural inequality. In my opinion, women, trans* and non-binary people need to occupy much more decisive positions in the music business. The idea is to support each other and offer more opportunities," says Alin, who makes sure that her team is mixed, from technical to promotional. Environmental protection has also always been close to Alin Coen's heart. After completing her degree in environmental protection technology in Weimar, she moved to Holland to do a Master's degree in water management. "For a while, I suddenly found it pointless to be a musician. I thought I had to do something real in life. This planet is burning and what am I going to do about it?" But it soon became clear that music was not so easy to imagine the artist's life without it. "The first thing I did in Holland was to buy a piano from the neighbor's shared flat," she says with a laugh.
