Seeds are an important cultural asset, they ensure diversity in the field and in the garden and are the cornerstone of our future food supply. Spring begins with the "Discover seed diversity" campaign day. Gardeners are invited to bring along seeds of their old, favorite and most robust varieties and offer them for sharing. Over the last few decades, up to 90% of the tried and tested seed varieties with their broad genetic make-up have disappeared from gardens and fields. With this day of action, we want to promote exchange and stand up for biodiversity and species diversity.
