ADFC Radlvortrag - 12.000 km alleine mit dem Fahrrad durch Europa, Marokko und die Türkei

In August 2022, Rieke Schmees cycled south from her parents' house in Emsdetten, North Rhine-Westphalia, without a plan. She first crossed Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal before crossing over to Morocco, where she spent 4 months exploring the country by bike. She then took the ferry from Morocco back to Genoa in Italy and continued her journey by cycling through Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey. In total, she cycled over 12,000 km in 16 different countries and experienced incredible hospitality, freedom and gained exciting insights into what is possible when you have the courage to push yourself to your limits - alone, as a woman.
