Director Alice Laloy says of herself that she is interested in everything that makes you believe the opposite of what you might expect. In her work, she creates encounters that probably wouldn't happen in real life. This is also the case in "À Poils: Wild Hair", where the young audience meets three curious characters in a setting that initially has nothing to do with a theater performance. In this show, the expected is overturned: two strange worlds meet and suddenly have the task of building a new world together.

We can't give too much away. But we can tell you this much: you can't expect an ordinary visit to the theater and a pretty hairy surprise at the end. When you arrive, the stage is empty. Not a trace of the actors. Nothing in this show seems to be ready for its audience. But then stage cases move from one side of the room to the other. And suddenly there are three people in leather outfits, with long hair and beards. Are they perhaps the theater technicians who still have to set up the show? While the audience is still puzzling over the unusual situation, they find themselves in the middle of the action and lend a hand.

One person is handed a string, another a box. And little by little, the room changes and everything gets hairier, shaggier and fluffier.

Note: A small dog called Nina crosses the stage three times during the show. The dog is very tame and trained. The audience moves freely around the space for large parts of the show and the area is wheelchair accessible.
