In the organizer's words:

Jewish tangos and chansons from Lviv, Warsaw to Berlin and Paris

Karolina Trybała not only sings, she collects songs and stories,

translates, mediates between cultures and gives concerts and singing workshops throughout Europe.

For many years, she has been particularly passionate about the music of the 1920s from Galicia.

The Yiddish songbook "TATE-MAME" was created as part of her research.

In the program, Karolina presents Jewish classics and tangos from the interwar period that caused a sensation in Lviv and Warsaw and then traveled with the artists via Berlin to Paris and Tel Aviv. Karolina enchants in Yiddish, Polish, French and Hebrew.

With wit, pleasure, depth and melancholy, she celebrates the old and at the same time creates her passionate, inimitable adaptations.

Poetically and captivatingly, a bridge is built from the past to the present day, tradition meets joie de vivre.

Karolina's multi-faceted vocals are congenially complemented by two exceptional musicians:

the fiery violinist Alexander Bersutsky from ODESSA and

Mateusz Tadeusz Dudek, the accordion virtuoso from KRAKAU.
