7 Jahre Hagebutte Verlag

In the organizer's words:

An evening of short readings, a small exhibition and melodious bossa nova. The tiny Munich-based publishing house Hagebutte Verlag turns 7 and invites guests from near and far to take a stroll through its diverse program: including an excerpt from a novel set between Germany and Iran, poetry for young and old from Brazil and Chile, an excursion into the realm of lost things, and much more. The readings are in German with Persian-Spanish-Brazilian intermezzi. The live band will be just as eager to translate with German-language bossa nova and will also be playing other sounds from Brazil and elsewhere on the turntable afterwards. The visuals will also be varied with illustrations, photos and videos about the books and everything else that has happened in the last 7 years of the small publishing house, which was awarded the German Publishing Prize in 2024.
