The 14th Hamburg Magic Nights
Like nowhere else, the audience can experience how different the art of magic can be. The evenings are neither variety performances nor Las Vegas shows, but offer a completely independent artistic world. All evenings are not 'number programs', but dramaturgically thought-out pieces. Please forget everything you know about magic. There are no white rabbits, no sawn-up virgins. You will experience artists in contemporary clothing on stage, brightly lit and stripped of old-fashioned props, just like in the theater.
The organizer, Wittus Witt, is a renowned magician who is particularly committed to the art of magic. He is considered a protagonist in the field of theater magic, which he has brought to stages that were previously closed to the art of magic since the early 1990s. ZAUBERNÄCHTE has been an annual guest at Hamburg's Sprechwerk since 2014.
Christian Knudsen: Salonwunder
Christian Knudsen has been a successful professional magician on many stages and in a wide variety of formats for over 30 years. He performed magic at Felix Magath's wedding as well as at the Buddenbrookhaus in Lübeck in front of Günter Grass. For nine years he was resident magician in the restaurant of the five-star Hotel Steigenberger in Hamburg and has traveled to more than fifty countries as a solo artist on board six different luxury liners in twenty years. The premiere of his literary-magical solo, from which the program "Salonwunder" emerged, also took place on the stage of the Kaisersaal of the MS Deutschland in 2006.
