The Dortmunder U is the epitome of art, culture and creativity. Curious, creative and culture lovers come together here to discover and experience art in all its facets. Exciting exhibitions, impressive media art, an art library and the cinema in the U await you on several floors of this vibrant location.

The current special exhibition "Women Artists in Expressionism and Flux - Tell these people who I am" is dedicated to women artists who have made the world more diverse with their art. It impressively shows how women found their voices in art movements such as Expressionism and the Fluxus movement and played central roles in them.
