Lichter der City
For just over 2 weeks, you can watch a very special spectacle at 12 different spots in Bremen city center between 4:30 and 10:00 pm. During the City Lights, the facades of memorable buildings in Bremen are illuminated in the brightest colors & sometimes with a perfectly coordinated light show. It doesn't cost admission, is beautiful & therefore an absolute no-brainer. 💡
Kellersale/Lagerverkauf @Defibrillator Secondhand
The year is off to a great start for all second-hand fans. On Saturday, January 4th, you can pick up some really nice deals at Defi's basement warehouse. It starts at 11 am and the magic happens until 8 pm. Sounds like a good activity for the first Saturday of the year, doesn't it? 👕
Florian Schroeder
As Jan Böhmermann's home city, Bremen is already well supplied with useful satirists. Nevertheless, Florian Schroeder is currently on tour with his ""Schluss jetzt! Der satirische Jahresrückblick" tour and is also making a stop in Bremen. So if you want to have a good laugh about the last year, you're probably in good hands here. 😁
Wild Boys - Premiere
The new year at the GOP Bremen starts with a new show! In 2025, there will be a total of 5 different shows at the GOP that will provide you with unforgettable moments. It all starts with "Wild Boys". Rosemarie will guide you through the evening and she will be supported by a squadron of car tire-throwing Wild Boys. This date is the premiere date - be quick, because it will sell out quickly. 🤸♀️
One-Day-Chor
The events organized by brynja e.V. are always characterized by their uniqueness. After ice swimming in Lake Werdersee and various social walks, now comes the One-Day Choir. The focus of these events is always on being mindful of each other. Be part of a choir for a day, experience harmony together and draw untold energy from the sound of your voices together. Sounds good? And it is. 👼
Christoph Fritz - Zärtlichkeit
From the hard school of live stand-up comedy, Austria has given birth to a true gem. Christoph Fritz is one of those comedians who are funny because they consistently don't laugh at their own jokes. This makes everyone in the audience think that maybe he's serious after all and just happened to end up where you're watching him. Have fun! 🤣
Out of the Box Improtheater Kurs 8 Termine

Die Stadt ohne Juden
On January 16 & 17, you can experience the satire "Die Stadt ohne Juden", based on a novel from 1922. After the performance on January 17, the Zentrale will show the accompanying film, which was released as an adaptation of the novel. Thematically, the play deals satirically with the hatred against Jews after the First World War. What was intended as satire at the time was soon to become bitter reality and the fictional novel turned out to be a preview of what was to come.
Die Stadt ohne Juden (Film)
A film that shows in an oppressive way how a right-wing nationalist government banishes all Jews in a fictional city - and has a shockingly prophetic effect. Based on Hugo Bettauer's 1922 novel "The City Without Jews", this satire is a powerful testimony against anti-Semitism and exclusion. 🎥
MINIATUREN
MINIATUREN celebrates art in miniature with performances, dance, music and theater in all corners of the historic Kontorhaus in Bremen. This year's theme "TIEF GRABEN" invites you to explore the unknown, make the invisible visible and be inspired by artistic diversity - from the changing room to under the roof! 🤏
Einsamkeiten – Premiere
🎭 Why are we so reluctant to talk about loneliness, even though it affects everyone at some point? This piece brings language and movement together to see loneliness from a new perspective - as a moment of reflection and connection with oneself.
