Leva57 was born and raised in Calabria (Southern Italy), and she has also lived in New York City, Milan, London, Barcelona and Naama Bay (Egypt). As “Street Fashionista”, she gained 1st place in the ADIDAS END TO END PROJECT in Rome, creating the winning design for the ‘Adidas Superstars’ competition at the most prestigious Footlocker branch in Rome, near Saint Peter’s Cathedral. In 2007, she worked as Brainstormer with Puma and also won a Nike competition (“Hip Hop Roots”).
She has been involved in Hip Hop since 1994; nowadays, she is officially recognized by Afrika Bambaataa.
Since 2009, she has been part of “Dojo Soundz” (a DJ team founded by Charlie Rock, member of the legendary Rock Steady Crew), and B.M. Records, the italian Hip Hop label. She has been the warm up DJ for Afrika Bambaataa, Masta Ace, Ed O.G., Evidence (Dilated Peoples), Kurtis Blow, The Furious Five, Donald D and many more.
As a key figure both locally and globally, she has thus been responsible for organising a lot of big events in Italy. The RockLedge Tour, Tecniche Perfette Freestyle, Tecniche Perfette B-Boying Battle and the first 2-on-2 Bonnie and Clyde battle are just a few examples.
Leva57 has been journalist for the Groove Mag (Italy), Da Bomb, and We Got Flava (magazines), and hotmc.com as well. 
Based in Rome at the moment, she performs as a DJ in the most important Hip Hop clubs, breaking/toprock battles and park jams all around the world (New York City, London, Paris, Florence, Milan, Rome, and Naples, among many others), she’s the “I Leva You” official radio host for Contaminazioni Afro at the famous Radio Onda Rossa (Rome, Italy), and she toured Europe as DJ for Dynasty (Queens, New York) and her “A Star in Life’s Clothing Tour pt.2”. At the moment she is working on "I Miss Hip Hop", her first official and international mixtape, out in 2016.
